So Mikkele informed me last night that she no longer has a/any boyfriend(s). This is news to me. I casually brought up one of the boys that she says has been her "boyfriend" since the first day of First Grade and she looked at me with the look of death and says, "He's not my boyfriend Mother." After recovering from my shock I asked her about another boy that she has also called her "boyfriend" since the beginning of Second Grade, and she also said no. So I asked her what prompted the no boyfriend thing all of a sudden and she said, "Well Rietta (her best friend) told me I shouldn't have a boyfriend so I decided I'm not going to have one anymore." I don't know how long this has been going on, because she couldn't tell me how long ago she decided to not have a boyfriend, but it can't be for more than a week. And there you have it. We'll see how long it lasts.

Good for her! She doesn't need a boyfriend. I know she is boy crazy, so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. I guess you should enjoy it while you can...haha.
That is so cute! Both my boys are convinced that all girls their age have cooties, and that is just fine with me. Hopefully it lasts til they are a lot older.
