Maturation
Over the last few weeks I have had a few people, after seeing Mikkele for the first time in a while, ask me if she is starting to get little boobies. I have come back with, "NO she's 8!". But after taking some time to evaluate things I was starting to see what other people have been seeing. So I've been debating whether or not I should get her a training bra. I never had a training bra, and I think that it might have been a little easier to get used to the new time in my life easing into it rather than jumping in to the real ones. So anyway today we were at Wal-mart and we found Hannah Montana training bra and panty set on sale for $3 so I decided to get four pairs. She thinks it's pretty cool, but doesn't really understand what they're for and she thinks they feel a little weird. I've tried to tell her it's to get her ready for when she really starts to get bigger little boobies. Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but big boobies run in both sides of the family, so ready or not I'm sure she's in for it as well. Hopefully nothing else gets started here really soon.

oh the joys of growing up and being a girl!! At least you went with the Hannah Montana theme!!!
She is going to love you blogging about this;) Good choice on the Hannah Montana. Wish they had cool ones like that when we got them.
I was laughing so hard reading this! Oh no...it's that time? I'm scared for all this growing up stuff. Not looking forward to it!
She's my little girl ... seems just like yesterday I was shopping for her mother a bra!
Oh April you freakin crap me up. I was laughing shaking my head reading this. Poor Mikkele. I hope she doesn't know you posted this. ha ha. Your a good mom though. I love checkin your blog!
April - you are hilarious! I've got to say, I wish I had the booby "problem." You poor things. I don't think my girls will have that issue if they take after their mother at all. Sad.
