Graduation Days

Grant had his preschool end of the year performance/graduation on Tuesday. They sang some songs that they had learned throughout the year, then had an award presentation, and then we watched a slide show that had pictures of the kids throughout the year. It was pretty cute. He is out for a few weeks then will start a summer school program that is 2 days a week for 6 weeks. His teacher Miss Rachel and his aid Miss Carrie were so good with him. He loves to go to school.

Grant really does love Miss Rachel. He's just sad that school's out for a little bit.

Mikkele had her 2nd grade end of the year program on Wednesday. Each child was presented with a certificate of achievement in a particular area as well as just a basic certificate of advancement into the 3rd grade. Hers was in Social Studies. This video is her teacher Miss Oberhansley presenting her with her award. (It's kinda quiet so you might have to turn up the volume on your speakers.) Then they also showed a slide show showing the years activities. She has really learned a lot this year and is really excited to go to the 3rd grade.
